The Cathedral of Learning on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh was commissioned by chancellor John G. Bowman in 1921. Today, it stands as the second tallest educational building in the world. A fun fact about the Cathedral of Learning is that some Pittsburgh adults still may own a certificate from it’s resurrection for donating 10 cents to “buy a brick” for the building.
Cathedral dimensions are 7.5” x 6.0” wide x 14.6” tall.
